Job summary

QXO is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage customer projects from order placement through final delivery. You will coordinate materials, inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and delivery activities, acting as the central link between customers, Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Dispatch, and Operations to ensure accurate orders and timely deliveries.

The role emphasizes coordinating across teams, maintaining records, and supporting billing and closeout activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in wholesale building materials, distribution, or related industry preferred.
• Experience supporting customer orders, projects, operations, or material fulfillment.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from sale to delivery and ensure accuracy of orders and materials.
• Review requirements and schedules to meet customer timelines.
• Maintain project records and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate changes with customers and internal teams to align on delivery and material needs.
• Serve as primary operations contact for customers and communicate status and changes.
• Plan daily deliveries and coordinate trucks, drivers, and dispatch resources.
• Monitor deliveries and adjust plans to resolve delays or issues.
• Coordinate procurement with Purchasing based on active projects.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or excess materials promptly.
• Support warehouse, dispatch, and sales to optimize order fulfillment and customer service.
