Job summary

Coastal Chevrolet Cadillac Nissan in Pawleys Island, SC seeks a Service Scheduler / BDC Representative to handle high-volume service inquiries and keep our bays full with timely scheduling.

You will manage inbound/outbound calls, schedule appointments, and provide customer updates with a focus on exceptional service. Prior call center or customer service experience is ideal; automotive exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer service or call center experience required, automotive experience is a bonus.
• Excellent phone etiquette and comfort with computer databases and scheduling systems.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass drug test and background check.

Join a thriving, third-generation family-owned dealership where your voice drives our success. We are seeking a phone-savvy Service Scheduler / Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to handle high-volume communications and deliver an exceptional experience to our service customers.

What You’ll Do

Working directly within our Service BDC, you will manage inbound and outbound communications to keep our service bays full and our customers informed.

• Manage Inbound & Outbound Calls: Promptly answer incoming service inquiries and conduct proactive customer outreach (maintenance reminders, follow-ups, and callbacks).




• Schedule Appointments: Build and maintain the service department calendar using our internal computer scheduling software.




• Customer Support: Answer general vehicle service questions, provide basic updates, and ensure every caller receives top-tier care.




• Administrative Tracking: Maintain accurate customer records and assist the BDC/Service Scheduling Manager with daily administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Customer Service: Previous customer service or call center/BDC experience required. (Automotive experience is a bonus, but not required!)




• Phone & Tech Skills: Advanced phone etiquette and comfort navigating computer databases and scheduling systems.




• Professionalism: Strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a reliable track record.




• Requirements: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
