Job summary

AVI Foodsystems seeks a friendly, hardworking individual for the Service Route Driver, Full-time role headquartered in North Carolina. You will load, transport, and deliver products to client locations, keep refrigeration and inventory in check, and interact positively with customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products to service locations.
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations.
• Deliver, load, and unload products as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.

• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations

Requirements:
