Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Service Route Driver for full-time 1st shift to deliver and service locations with accuracy, care, and a customer-first mindset. In this role you will load and unload products, drive to client sites, keep stock and refrigeration in good order, manage inventory, collect payments as needed, and communicate professionally with customers and AVI teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products for service at locations.
• Deliver, load, and transport products to client locations.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers; ensure refrigeration.
• Oversee inventory, collect unsold merchandise, and manage stock.
• Communicate professionally with customers and AVI team members.
• Perform routine maintenance and care of the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver, Full-Time. This position will work 1st shift.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations


• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations


• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested


• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers


• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts


• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory


• Collect unsold and stale merchandise


• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines


• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling


• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts


• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle


• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record


• Ability to pass the DOT Physical


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
