Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Service Route Driver in Indiana to load, transport, and deliver products to client locations while maintaining refrigeration and inventory control. You will communicate with customers and AVI teams, promote products, and uphold safety and maintenance standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver products to client locations as assigned.
• Transport products and food to client locations.
• Place stock on shelves or vending machines.
• Ensure refrigeration of cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee inventory and ordering of merchandise.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
