Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a dependable Service Route Driver to join our team in a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm with no holidays or weekends. You will load, transport, and deliver products to client locations, maintaining refrigeration and excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes timely delivery, safe driving, and proper handling of merchandise with opportunities for growth within a respected food service company.

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive to client locations and deliver, load, and unload products.
• Place stock on shelves or vending machine racks.
• Ensure refrigerated products stay cold during transport and at accounts.
• Oversee inventory and merchandise ordering at accounts.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise and manage cash from machines.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines and vehicle.
• Maintain custody and care of the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 5am-3:30pm. NO holidays or weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently
