Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hardworking Service Route Driver to join our Warren, OH team. This full-time role loads, transports, and delivers products to client locations, while maintaining refrigeration and stock levels. You will engage with customers, promote products, and manage route timelines.

You must be at least 21, possess a valid license (CDL not required) and pass the DOT Physical. Excellent organization, time management, and independent work ethic are essential, with

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load the company vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive to client locations and transport products and food.
• Deliver, load, and unload products as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and manage inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines (coins and bills).
• Interact with customers in a positive, professional manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Care for the company vehicle and maintain cleanliness.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle
