Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Service Route Driver for a full-time Akron, OH role with a Monday–Friday dayshift. The job involves delivering and loading products, maintaining refrigeration, and providing excellent customer service at client locations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license (CDL not required) with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products on the company vehicle for service locations.
• Drive to client locations to transport products and food.
• Deliver, load, and unload products as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee merchandise ordering and inventory control.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers and AVI team members.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver.

This is a full-time position in Akron, OH. Schedule is Monday through Friday, dayshift.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations


• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations


• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested


• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers


• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts


• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory


• Collect unsold and stale merchandise


• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines


• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling


• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts


• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle


• Valid driver�s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record


• Ability to pass the DOT Physical


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
