Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hardworking Service Route Driver to join our team. You will load, transport, and deliver products to client locations, ensuring proper refrigeration and inventory control while maintaining strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products for service locations and drive route.
• Deliver, load, and unload products to client locations.
• Stock shelves in vending machines or coolers and maintain inventory.
• Ensure refrigeration of cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Collect money from machines and oversee merchandise restocking.
• Provide friendly customer interaction with eye contact and a smile.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
