Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Service Route Driver for a full-time role in Lincoln, AL. You will load the company vehicle, transport products to client locations, deliver and unload items, and maintain equipment and refrigeration at accounts.

The position requires a 21+ driver, a valid license (CDL not required) with a good driving record, ability to pass the DOT physical, and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations.
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations.
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts.
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.
