Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Service Route Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for loading, delivering, and stocking products at client locations, ensuring cold storage, and maintaining the vehicle.

Candidates must be at least 21, have a valid license (no CDL required), pass the DOT physical, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license (CDL not required) with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Load the company vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive to client locations to deliver and unload products.
• Stock shelves or vending machines and ensure cold storage in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering and inventory control; collect unsold merchandise.
• Communicate positively with customers and AVI team members.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
