Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Service & Repair Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, test, repair, and maintain medical devices and equipment for customers and operations. You’ll contribute to customer satisfaction through timely repairs and adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes effective problem solving, documentation, and teamwork in a service-oriented environment, with a Monday–Friday shift from 5am to 1pm in Riverview, FL.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in technical repair, equipment maintenance, product support, manufacturing, electronics, or a related field preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical product issues preferred.
• Knowledge of customer complaint handling processes preferred.
• Familiarity with IPC standards (soldering) preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including reading and writing to process documents.
• Ability to complete documentation and follow GDP.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams preferred.
• Willingness to learn hand tools, repair equipment and testing devices.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while supporting customer-focused service objectives.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, analyze, test, calibrate, and repair Cardinal Health medical devices and equipment.
• Perform product decontamination and functional evaluations to identify issues and repair actions.
• Complete basic electronic component assembly and disassembly in support of repair activities.
• Conduct product triage and technical assessments for efficient issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate service records and GDP-compliant documentation.
• Manage inventory of equipment, spare parts, and repair materials.
• Prioritize and complete assigned work to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Partner with internal teams to support customer expectations and timely service.
• Comply with GMPs and other regulations; adhere to company policies.
• Perform other duties, including overtime as needed.

Product Support/Repair-Field and Depot is responsible for troubleshooting technical problems, diagnosing, analyzing and/or repairing products.

Job Summary

The Service & Repair Technician supports Cardinal Health customers and operations by troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing, repairing, and maintaining medical devices and equipment. This role contributes to customer satisfaction through product repair, timely resolution of technical issues, and adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.

• Perform product decontamination and functional evaluations to identify technical issues and determine appropriate repair actions.
• Complete basic electronic component assembly and disassembly in support of repair and maintenance activities.
• Conduct product triage and technical assessments to ensure efficient resolution of equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and established procedures.
• Manage and maintain inventory of equipment, spare parts, consumables, and repair materials to support operational needs.
• Prioritize and complete assigned work to meet productivity goals, quality, and customer expectations.
• Partner with internal teams to support customer expectations and ensure timely product support and repair services.
• Comply with all company policies and applicable local, state, federal, safety, and quality regulations, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working overtime as needed to support business requirements.
