Job summary

TK Elevator in Washington, DC is seeking an Account Manager- Service & Repair to secure and grow service accounts and repair work while building strong relationships with new and existing customers to meet annual revenue goals.

Responsibilities include exceeding sales quotas, visiting Tier 1–3 customers, developing capital plans, understanding local elevator codes, preparing repair proposals, bidding service contracts, and providing timely follow-up on quotes and inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of business-to-business sales experience is required.
• Strong attention to detail with proactive follow-up skills.
• Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding ability to build and nurture relationships with customers, team members, and cross-functional colleagues.
• Salesforce experience (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and/or blueprint/drawings (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Exceeds sales goals and quotas by utilizing company tools for service and repair growth and cancellation reduction.
• Manages service accounts by visiting with Tier 1, 2 and 3 customers within assigned territory, to develop ongoing relationships with customers and build an understanding of their needs and wants.
• Develops capital plans for customers to address their short- and long-term building needs.
• Maintains a strong working knowledge of company products by attending training classes and studying factory equipment manuals and supplier information.
• Prepares repair job proposals by estimating labor and other job costs using estimating software program; reviews blueprints and interfaces with operations personnel for input and approvals.
• Prepares service contract bids with review of blueprints and equipment surveys as needed.
• Receives and responds to questions related to quoted repairs and service contracts and follows up with customers.
