Job summary

ENFRA in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Service Project Manager to oversee all aspects of energy infrastructure projects, manage costs, field labor, and subcontractors, and deliver safe, high-quality work on schedule and under budget.

You will lead project planning, coordinate trades, ensure compliance with laws and company standards, and drive weekly and monthly project reviews, while maintaining strong customer relations and ensuring cash flow and accurate invoicing.

Qualifications

• 4 Year Degree in Construction Management or applicable fieldwork experience in Plumbing.
• Minimum 5+ year's verifiable Project Management experience working for a mechanical subcontractor in commercial HVAC and Plumbing.
• Must have verifiable experience in working on multiple projects at a time (University buildings, etc).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Champion of project safety.
• Maintains a safe and secure work environment through safety meetings and incident investigations.
• Total responsibility of executing a project through the project life cycle.
• Leads planning and all trades to ensure work meets code, budget, and schedule.
• Ensures compliance with state, local, and federal requirements and ethical standards.
• Ensures quality of work to corporate standards and project requirements.
• Conducts and documents operational project meetings.
• Negotiate and prepare vendor/subcontractor purchase orders and evaluate submittals.
• Performs project setup, labor/material/subcontract cost coding.
• Submit for approval to business unit operations manager.
• Conduct monthly cost reviews and keep team informed to bring job in on time and under budget.
• Meet or exceed financial budgets and labor productivity goals.
• Drive cash flow with front-loaded schedule of values and timely billing.
• Coordinate lien waivers, state notifications and tax documentation as required.
• Coordinate and assure quality of project detail drawings.
• Estimate change orders and obtain VP approval before submitting to customer.
• Daily site requirements include meetings, deliveries, documentation, labor reports, and progress tracking.
• Build strong customer relations with GC, subcontractors, vendors, and owner.
