Job summary

ENFRA Solutions is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the project life cycle from planning through close-out. The role involves assisting the Project Manager with pricing, budgeting, estimating, subcontractor management, and scheduling for HVAC and plumbing installations.

You will help coordinate safety, prepare submittals, and assist in cost reviews, ensuring projects stay on time and under budget while maintaining quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering.
• 0-2 years' experience in the industry.
• Thorough knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Detail-oriented and able to tackle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of the industry and competitors.
• Excellent multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure work environment by coordinating safety meetings, incident investigations, and maintaining employee involvement.
• Assist project managers and superintendents in executing the project life cycle.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure proper planning and management of HVAC and plumbing installations to meet code and project requirements on time and under budget.
• Participate in meetings to support project and department goals.
• Assist in preparing vendor and subcontractor PO's, submittals, and shop drawings to reflect drawings, specifications, and estimates.
• Participate in monthly reports and cost reviews, noting deviations from plan or schedule.
• Assist in estimating change orders, project documentation, and close-out, including commissioning requirements.
• Engage with the project team across all life-cycle facets to build a career in the mechanical industry.
