Job summary

Friedkin is seeking a Valet to deliver an exceptional client experience by parking and retrieving service clients' cars in a friendly, professional manner.

You will greet clients, escort them to the lounge, and ensure the drive is organized while assisting with luggage and vehicle movement as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Customer service mentality and friendly attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stay on your feet for extended periods.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, drug test, and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and escort them to the service lounge.
• Park and retrieve cars for clients.
• Notify ASM if a client is waiting.
• Keep the service drive clear of vehicles and debris.
• Assist with moving luggage/packages and help with loading/unloading.
• Report any vehicle damage to management.

Purpose of Position

The primary purpose of the Valet position is to ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates. The Valet will park and retrieve service clients' cars in a friendly and professional manner.

Job Duties

• Greets clients and escorts client to appropriate service member or customer lounge.
• Parks cars in designated areas and retrieves cars for clients.
• Finds and installs license plates.
• Notifies Assistant Service Manager (ASM) if client is waiting.
• Keeps service drive free of vehicles.
• Maintains strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation.
• Helps clients transfer luggage or packages between cars.
• Assists techs in moving inoperable vehicles.
• Alerts Manager to any damage to clients’ vehicles.
• Assists with keeping the service drive clean and clear of debris.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to two years of business experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality.
• Enjoy working in a fact paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug test, and valid driver license (must be insurable).

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential responsibilities of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment varies from low to moderate and on occasion high. Driving & traffic conditions will vary mild to heavy.
