Job summary

Lexus of Las Vegas seeks a courteous Valet to greet clients, park and retrieve vehicles, and assist the service team. You will escort clients to the lounge and help keep the service drive clear, while ensuring safety and policy adherence.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, 1–2 years of business experience, a valid driver license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A positive customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years of business experience or equivalent.
• Positive, friendly attitude with a customer service mentality.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Able to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, drug test, and valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and escort them to the service lounge.
• Parks and retrieves service vehicles.
• Notify ASM if clients are waiting.
• Keep service drive free of vehicles.
• Assist with transferring luggage between cars.
• Assist techs in moving inoperable vehicles.
• Report any damage to clients’ vehicles to management.
• Maintain a clean and orderly service drive.

Purpose of Position

The primary purpose of the Valet position is to ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates. The Valet will park and retrieve service clients' cars in a friendly and professional manner.

Job Duties

• Greets clients and escorts client to appropriate service member or customer lounge.
• Parks cars in designated areas and retrieves cars for clients.
• Finds and installs license plates.
• Notifies Assistant Service Manager (ASM) if client is waiting.
• Keeps service drive free of vehicles.
• Maintains strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation.
• Helps clients transfer luggage or packages between cars.
• Assists techs in moving inoperable vehicles.
• Alerts Manager to any damage to clients’ vehicles.
• Assists with keeping the service drive clean and clear of debris.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to two years of business experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality.
• Enjoy working in a fact paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment varies from low to moderate and on occasion high. Driving & traffic conditions will vary mild to heavy.
