Job summary
Empower AI, a government-focused tech partner, seeks a Service Portal Developer to build and improve the IT Service Portal used by about 13,000 users in a DoD-like agency. You will implement portal pages, forms, and knowledge experiences on ServiceNow, aligned with CX Roadmap and accessibility standards.
Hybrid role based in Quantico, VA with remote eligibility and up to 10% travel; require DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level I, active clearance, and 3+ years in web/Power Platform development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 4 years related experience, or 8 years substitute for degree.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level I baseline certification.
- Active Secret Clearance; Top Secret eligibility may be required.
- Experience delivering Section 508/WCAG compliant, responsive web content.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Service Portal/Employee Center pages, widgets, and forms.
- Implement self-service experiences: knowledge base, automated fulfillment, ticket status views.
- Ensure 508/WCAG compliance, responsive design, and VPAT prep.
- Analyze portal usage and report progress monthly.
- Develop Microsoft 365/Power Platform solutions to automate processes.
- Maintain public-facing web content using HTML/CSS/JS.
