Job summary

Empower AI seeks a Service Portal Developer to build and improve the IT Service Portal for roughly 13,000 users in a DoD context. You will implement portal pages, widgets, forms, and knowledge experiences on ServiceNow Service Portal, and ensure accessibility and responsive design across all components.

Hybrid role based in Quantico, VA with remote eligibility and up to 10% travel. Strong emphasis on Power Platform, 365 tools, and VPAT readiness within an Agile team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years related experience (additional 4 years may substitute for degree).
• U.S. Citizen status is required.
• Must hold DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level I baseline cert prior to cybersecurity duties.
• Active Secret Clearance is required to start; TS eligibility may be needed later.
• Minimum 3 years web or Power Platform development in an enterprise setting.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript; Power Apps/Automate; SharePoint Online/SPFx.
• Experience delivering 508/WCAG-compliant, responsive web content.
• Experience in Agile framework with stakeholder demonstrations and UAT.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Service Portal/Employee Center pages and widgets on the ITSM platform.
• Implement user-facing self-service experiences: knowledge base, requests, and ticket actions.
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and VPAT readiness; integrate with VPAT tools.
• Analyze portal usage and deliver reports to stakeholders monthly.
• Develop Microsoft 365/Power Platform solutions to automate processes as directed.
• Maintain public-facing web content with HTML/CSS/JS and Adobe tools.
• Ensure compliance with DoD standards and government coding guidelines.
