Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Parts Advisor to oversee parts operations at the service center in San Jose. You will manage inventory, process orders, and ensure accurate part searches for repairs while supporting efficient service operations.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, forklift certification, and excellent organizational skills. You will also contribute to improving FTFR and promote accessory sales as per Lucid guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a Service Parts Advisor or equivalent.
• Proficiency in parts catalog search for repairs.
• Forklift certification and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage parts inventory and optimize operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory control system including perpetual and annual inventories.
• Order inventory and special-order parts for repairs.
• Receive parts orders and stock efficiently in designated storage area.
• Manage parts transfers between Lucid service locations if applicable.
• Generate parts estimates for customers, insurers or internal fleet vehicles.
• Stay up to date on part revision changes and refresh local inventory accordingly.
• Achieve and maintain high First Time Fill Rate (FTFR).
• Oversee parts warranty returns in system and physically.
• Interpret automotive terminology for precise parts ordering.
• Promote sales of accessories according to Lucid guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
