Job summary

Lucid Motors in Costa Mesa, CA is hiring a Parts Advisor (back counter) to oversee parts operations within the service center and maximize return on investment through inventory management. You will support technicians, generate estimates, and ensure accurate parts fulfillment.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience as a Service Parts Advisor, proficiency with parts catalogs and DMS software, and the ability to lift 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a Service Parts Advisor.
• Proficiency in parts catalog search for repairs.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to work independently and minimize downtime on repairs.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and learn proprietary DMS software.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk/bend for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage parts inventory and anticipate business needs.
• Maintain accurate perptual and annual inventories.
• Order inventory and special-order parts for repairs.
• Receive parts orders and stock efficiently.
• Manage parts transfers between Lucid service locations.
• Generate parts estimates for customers or insurers.
• Stay updated on part revisions and refresh inventory.
• Maintain high FTFR for the Parts Department.
• Oversee warranty returns in system and physically.
• Interpret automotive terminology for precise searches.
• Promote sales of accessories per Lucid guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
