Job summary

Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky is seeking a Service Operator to join a high‑caliber production team. The role involves assisting the firemen and operating the boiler, maintaining safety, and ensuring proper oil and grease usage while following the plant schedule.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, a stable work history, and the ability to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. The job requires physical work, good communication, and a readiness to learn chemical treatment

Responsibilities

• Assist the Firemen in maintaining and operating the boiler in the distillery.
• Ensure proper oil and grease is used for each application and follow the plant schedule.
• Maintain a clean and safe boiler room environment.
• Work eight-hour shifts and be capable of climbing stairs and ladders in a production setting.

Job Description/Responsibilities

Service Operator - Buffalo Trace Distillery

Buffalo Trace Distillery is currently seeking applicants for a Service Operator position, multiple shift employment, with a starting salary of $28.03 per hour.

We are looking fora dependable and motivatedperson to join the outstanding team that produces some of the highest quality products in the world. Responsibilities include assisting the Firemen in maintaining and operating the boiler in the distillery.Ensure that proper oil and grease is used for each application and properly maintain specifications/schedule throughout the plant. Maintain a clean and safe working environment inside the boiler room.

Physical requirements include frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.,as well as frequent bending, kneeling and squatting. Climbing is required frequently throughout the day on stairs and ladders.Working outside during inclement weather conditions is requiredin addition toworking inareas that are not temperature-controlled.

Qualifications/Requirements

Candidates must have:

• HS diploma or GED equivalent
• A stable work history with a demonstrated record of working safely and excellent attendance
• Applicants will be required to work flexibleshifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
• Must have aptitude to learn chemical treatment processes and testing methods
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

• Previous experience in the Alcoholic Beverage industry
• Previous boiler experience

Candidates must be able to work 8 hour shifts/Monday-Friday on 2nd and 3rd shift.
