Job summary

Sazerac Company’s Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky is seeking a part-time Guest Experience Ambassador to welcome visitors and ensure a seamless, engaging experience from arrival to departure. In this role you’ll handle check-in, reservations, and guest inquiries by phone and email, support tastings and tours, and help manage flow and safety for a memorable visit.

The position requires a high school diploma, ability to work weekends, and a friendly, service-oriented mindset.

Job Description/Responsibilities

Join the team that creates memorable experiences for visitors from around the world at Buffalo Trace Distillery. As a Guest Experience Ambassador, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for guests, helping ensure a welcoming, seamless, and engaging visit from arrival through departure. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment while supporting tours, tastings, reservations, and visitor services.

Schedule: This is a part time position working 16-24 hours a week including working weekdays and weekends.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome and assist guests throughout their visit, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Manage visitor check-in processes, reservations, and guest inquiries via phone and email.
• Support visitor flow through parking, transportation, greeting, and tasting experiences.
• Help create a safe, organized, and enjoyable environment for all guests.
• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve the visitor experience and daily operations.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must be able to work 2 weekends a month (including Saturday and Sunday)

Preferred

• 1+ year of hospitality, tourism, customer service, or guest experience experience.
• Experience working directly with visitors, customers, or guests in a service-focused environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
