Job summary

Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Cheraw, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager service operator to join their growing team!

A service operator helps maintain the cleanliness of the weave room and warehouse while assisting with production and material-handling duties. This position will start at $16 an hour and is predominantly 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid forklift certification OR a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning and material-handling duties.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to learn and perform multiple job duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the Weave Room and Warehouse areas.
• Clean and brush looms.
• Sweep and mop floors and clean walls and ceilings.
• Empty selvage cans from looms.
• Use a forklift as needed.
• Doff cloth from looms at specified lengths.
• Load creels as needed.
• Operate backwinders for fabric orders and tracer yarn.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety and production procedures.

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
