The role requires 3+ years in service department operations, strong communication, and familiarity with John Deere products. A high school diploma is required; some weekends may be needed in a dynamic shop environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Service Department operations.
• Proficient with MS Office and internet
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Familiar with John Deere and competitive products
• Basic understanding of financial principles for service ops
• Ability to analyze internal reports
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends
• Excellent customer service skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Develops and enforces Service Department processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Creates annual Service Department goals and budget.
• Executes Service Department marketing plans and monitors results.
• Coordinates customer clinics, field days and promotional events.
• Submits warranty and Product Improvement claims on time.
• Schedules and assigns jobs and areas to staff by skill and knowledge.
• Reviews work orders for accuracy before billing.
• Ensures tools and vehicles are kept in good working order.
• Manages recruiting, staffing and staff development.
• Other duties as assigned
