Qualifications

• Experience leading a service department in equipment or related industries.
• Strong understanding of diagnostics, repair, and service processes.
• Proven ability to lead and develop service teams.
• Knowledge of service financials including labor efficiency and warranties.
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dealership systems.
• Ability to analyze reports and drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day service department operations including shop and field service.
• Develop and enforce service processes to improve efficiency and turnaround times.
• Oversee technician scheduling, dispatching, and workload planning.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders, billing, and warranty submissions.
• Monitor performance metrics, labor efficiency, and profitability.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop service technicians and staff.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in the service area.
• Serve as primary contact for escalated customer service or technical issues.
• Collaborate with parts and sales to support uptime.
• Maintain departmental tools, vehicles, and equipment.
