Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Service Manager in Oklahoma City to lead the servicing of company and customer equipment. You will manage repair and maintenance, schedule crews, order parts, and ensure equipment availability while upholding safety standards.

You will coordinate with vendors, train staff, and maintain detailed service records, warranties, and reporting. This role requires strong leadership, planning, and a commitment to safety, with competitive benefits and pay.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Extensive experience repairing & maintaining self-propelled platforms and lifts.
• Knowledge of work planning, scheduling and supervisory activities.
• Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements.
• Clear perspective on maintenance and repair issues in the industry.
• Proven planning and management experience.
• Proficient with computers and reporting tools.
• Experience with inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Manage repair and maintenance of company and customer equipment.
• Organize yard (Ready to Rent, Returned, Down).
• Prepare work schedules and handle service calls to meet customer needs.
• Order parts to maintain supplies.
• Train and assist staff mechanics.
• Coordinate with vendors on equipment maintenance.
• Document equipment status before and after rental.
• Handle customer complaints about equipment condition.
• Promote safety awareness and perform quality checks.
• Update and maintain service records; create/update/close work orders.
• File warranty claims timely.
• Assist with equipment commissioning and part inventory.
• Adhere to Sunbelt's safety policies and reporting requirements.
