Job summary

LeoForce in West Springfield, MA is seeking a Senior Service Department Manager to lead a team of technicians, coordinate dispatch, and drive service quality. You will review the dispatch board, mentor staff, handle escalations, and partner with parts and installation teams to ensure timely, safe work.

Qualifications

Experience managing a service team (dock & door, industrial equipment, construction, or similar).
Strong knowledge of overhead doors, dock levelers, gates, or related systems.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and support service technicians to perform safe, high‑quality work.
Schedule and dispatch service calls for dock equipment, overhead doors, gates, and related systems.
Act as the main contact for service‑related customer issues and escalations.
Monitor job progress, labor hours, and KPIs to keep operations on track.
Coordinate with parts, sales, and installation teams for seamless service.
Promote a strong safety culture and OSHA compliance.
Conduct performance reviews and technician development.
Jump in and solve problems when things don’t go as planned.
