Job summary

Willard Heating and Cooling is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to oversee the daily service and fleet operations. The role emphasizes mentorship, customer relations, warranty and billing claims, as well as sales-driven leadership to drive top performance.

The successful candidate will lead a Rockstar Team, ensure field solution execution, and maintain equipment knowledge while meeting safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience in a management role.
• Strong organizational leadership skills to lead and grow a team of technicians.
• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Ability to properly train and diagnose equipment.
• Great attitude, high energy, great communication, and sales driven personality.

Responsibilities

• Weekly training with your team.
• Running callbacks with your team members to show in field solutions.
• Be available for your team, if they are working so are you.
• Jobsite analysis information must be documented per job.
• Unscheduled jobsite inspections.
• Be prepared to pick up overflow service calls.
• Ensuring proper vehicle care and stock for your team.
• Quarterly performance reviews for your team.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations.
• Ensure technician licenses and certificates are renewed and kept up to date.
• Sufficient knowledge and utilization of the software program being used.
• Prepare quotations for recommended work.
• Communicate and provide updates to customers and other managers.
• Setting and meeting performance goals.
• Implement and enforce company safety protocols.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt and professional service delivery.
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.
