Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) seeks a Service Manager to oversee internal personnel and operations, optimizing resources to deliver world-class customer service and achieve branch goals. This is a working supervisor role.

You will manage scheduling, training, compliance with NTTC/ASME/CFR, and performance evaluations, ensuring staffing aligns with branch requirements while maintaining strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly analytical and well organized; proficient with computers and related software.
• Strong decision-making, problem solving and time management abilities.
• Must be ethical in all job activities.
• 5 years’ experience in parts, fleets, and tank trailer service/repair preferred.
• Degree in Operations Management or related discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, assess service needs and quote work as requested.
• Delegate workloads and actively support growth.
• Oversee open order aging and ensure invoices are presented timely with repairs.
• Oversee scheduling and workflow through the shop.
• Ensure employees are qualified to perform assigned work.
• Interpret and ensure compliance with NTTC, ASME/National Board and CFR regulations.
• Develop and maintain staff product knowledge.
• Evaluate staff skills and recommend training.
• Review and present requisitions when tooling is required.
• Maintain appropriate departmental staffing in balance with branch needs.
• Provide daily reporting and assist in hiring for department staff.
• Conduct annual or required performance evaluations.
• Know and enforce company policies and procedures.
