Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly analytical and well organized; proficient with computers and related software.
• Strong decision-making, problem solving and time management skills.
• Must be ethical in all job related activities.
• 5 years’ experience in parts, fleets, and tank trailer service/repair preferred.
• Degree in Operations Management or other business-related discipline is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail when overseeing testing and completing required documentation.
• Problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues in machinery and service processes.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, assessing service needs and quoting work as requested.
• Delegate workloads and actively support growth.
• Oversee open order aging and ensure invoices are presented timely with repairs.
• Oversee scheduling and workflow through the shop.
• Ensure employees are qualified to perform the work assigned.
• Interpret and enforce NTTC, ASME/National Board and CFR regulations.
• Develop staff product knowledge and provide training when required.
• Review and present requisitions for additional tooling.
• Maintain appropriate staffing balanced with branch requirements.
• Provide daily reporting and other duties as assigned by Branch Manager.
• Assist in hiring processes for department staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations as required.
• Know and enforce company policies and procedures.
