Haug Implement Co. is seeking an Assistant Service Manager in Willmar to greet customers, quote work, and coordinate repair and maintenance tasks. The role involves supervising technicians, managing work orders, and coordinating parts and scheduling while upholding dealership standards.

You will support the Service Manager, ensure accurate diagnostics and timely updates to customers, and help maintain shop safety and organization in a dynamic dealership environment.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience or technical college degree or certification preferred.
• Experience managing technicians in a shop setting.
• Experience with repair, service, and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record required.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets and greets customers at the counter and takes customer phone calls.
• Quotes service work and repairs; updates customers with ongoing status and estimates.
• Schedules pickups and deliveries; assigns and tracks work orders.
• Supervises technicians for complete work order documentation and parts used.
• Covers for Service Manager as needed and ensures shop cleanliness.
• Maintains vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment; ensures safety compliance.
