Job summary

C&C Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Service Manager to lead the day-to-day service team across HVAC, plumbing and electrical trades, ensuring top performance, exceptional customer service, and efficient operations.

You will coach and develop a multi-trade team, partner with dispatch, manage quality and safety, and drive KPIs to win the month. This hands-on leadership role requires deep trade knowledge and a talent for building a high-performing department in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical with a strong residential service background.
• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role leading a technician team.
• In-depth technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, codes and compliance standards across trades.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in service management software; ServiceTitan experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service technicians, with ride-alongs, coaching sessions, and skill evaluations.
• Oversee daily service operations to ensure timely, efficient delivery across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services; partner with sales on process improvements.
• Monitor and track KPIs weekly; hold technicians to targets and address performance gaps swiftly.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure safety and customer satisfaction; handle escalations professionally.
• Recruit top multi-trade technicians and continually build the local talent pool.
• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs across all trades.
• Collaborate with sales, installation, and dispatch teams to coordinate requirements and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Prepare and analyze service reports and financial data; report to the General Manager with improvement recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards across every trade.
