Job summary

C&C Lift Truck Inc. is seeking a Service Coordinator to act as the liaison between the company and customers, coordinating day-to-day service and support.

The role involves assigning jobs to technicians, scheduling daily activities, and maintaining ongoing customer communication. Ideal candidates will have dispatcher experience, strong customer service skills, and a solid understanding of the NY/NJ/PA region, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the shop.
• Oversees small parts inventory operations.
• Handles incoming service calls via phone and email.
• Provides real-time updates to customers on service dates and ETAs.
• Provides updates to customers when a technician was scheduled but cannot perform service at site.
• Resolves customer issues with a proactive approach and timely communication.
• Manages assigned technicians to ensure day-to-day service operations.
• Coordinates technician schedules to align with customer needs and capabilities.
• Opens work orders for technicians promptly.
• Sets technician schedules by 3 pm daily and informs customers.
• Codes work orders with Unit ID, Make, Model and Serial Numbers.
• Verifies PO's and enters charges according to billing procedures for major accounts.
• Monitors field technician progress and suggests where assistance is needed.
• Works with technicians to ensure complete job execution.
• Maintains regular communication with account managers to resolve client issues.
• Collaborates with Parts Department to source correct parts and labor times.
• Schedules monthly preventive maintenance and tracks completion rates.
• Monitors and corrects time cards for invoicing.
• Ensures accurate time and parts data on all jobs.
• Maintains professionalism at work.
