Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation, a locally owned Phoenix-based HVAC and home performance company, seeks a Plumbing Service Manager to launch and lead a new residential plumbing division. You will combine hands-on plumbing with leadership, shaping procedures, service standards, and a high-performing team.

You'll work closely with ownership, influence hiring and training, and help drive long-term growth while earning bonuses tied to division performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive residential plumbing experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record.
• Minimum of five years of residential plumbing experience.
• Prior supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace.
• ServiceTitan experience is a plus.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential plumbing diagnostics, repairs, installations, and replacements.
• Oversee the daily operations of the plumbing department.
• Develop service procedures, pricing guidelines, and operating standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience on every job.
• Coordinate scheduling and dispatch to improve productivity.
• Review completed jobs for workmanship, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and support plumbing technicians.

We are locally owned residential HVAC and home performance company serving homeowners across the Phoenix metro area. For nearly 20 years, we've earned a reputation for quality workmanship, honest service, exceptional customer care, and investing in our employees. Unlike many companies in the industry, we're independently owned-not backed by private equity.

We're seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Manager to launch and lead our new residential plumbing division.

This is a unique opportunity to build a department from the ground up. You'll combine hands-on plumbing work with leadership responsibilities, helping create operational procedures, deliver outstanding customer service, and develop a high-performing plumbing team. Working directly with company ownership, you'll have significant influence over hiring, training, department standards, and long-term growth.
