Job summary

Total Air Service seeks a full-time Lead HVAC Technician in Willis, TX to lead our service department and mentor technicians. You’ll diagnose, repair, maintain, and install systems while serving as the department’s primary technical resource and training lead.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Trade school graduate and EPA certification.
• 5+ years of residential and mid to heavy commercial HVAC experience.
• Self-starter, reliable, flexibility with hours.
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
• Understanding of current regulations within the field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• General knowledge of power tools and techniques for care and safe use.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and installations for customers.
• Conduct ride-alongs and provide coaching and training.
• Lead one technical training class per month.
• Train and coach technicians on SOPs and conduct QC inspections.
• Assist with hiring and technician development and support dispatch.
