Goodman Truck & Tractor Co Inc is seeking a Service Manager to lead our service department and contribute to a customer-focused culture across our U.S. dealership network.

You will supervise daily operations, guide staff, and uphold shop standards in a dynamic, family-owned environment. Responsibilities include building strong customer relationships, driving service solution sales, managing budgets and KPIs, ensuring safety and compliance, and fostering accountability and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, technical, or related field; dealership experience preferred.
• Further education in a relevant field.
• CDL required or obtainable.
• Knowledge of CDK Dealer Management System is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily service department operations, lead staff, manage schedules, ensure workflow efficiency, enforce shop standards, and address deviations.
• Build and manage strong customer relationships; address service needs, resolve complex complaints, support technical issue resolution, and represent the department in meetings.
• Drive service solution sales by promoting the service portfolio, aligning offerings with customer needs, coordinating sales activities, and cross-department collaboration.
• Manage service department performance by monitoring budgets, KPIs, financials, warranty data, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable team culture by developing staff, maintaining confidentiality, encouraging learning, and leading by example.
