Ballard Truck Center in West Springfield, MA is seeking a Service Manager to lead a full-service department and drive profitability. You will ensure efficient operations, teamwork across service, parts and sales, and adherence to OEM and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum: 2-3 years service manager experience (automotive or heavy truck).
• CDK software experience preferred.
• Heavy duty truck dealership experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage and lead the service department to meet profitability and efficiency goals.
• Coordinate with Parts and other departments to ensure cohesive operations.
• Maintain and monitor reporting and performance metrics for the department.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, OEM policies, warranties, and safety standards.
• Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate service staff; conduct regular performance reviews.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
