The role involves extensive reporting, work-order management, and coordinating with vendors to keep the fleet ready for rental. The position requires a valid driver's license and strong experience with platforms, lifts, and maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Extensive repair and maintenance experience on self-propelled platforms and lifts.
• Knowledge of work planning and scheduling and supervisory activities.
• Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements.
• Experience in maintenance planning and handling repair issues.
• Planning and management experience are valuable.
• Proficiency with computer systems and reporting tools.
• Experience in inventory management and parts coordination.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory considerations in equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manages repair and maintenance of company-owned and customer equipment.
• Prepares work schedules and handles service calls to meet customer needs.
• Orders parts to maintain supplies.
• Provides training and guidance to staff mechanics.
• Collaborates with vendors to learn maintenance requirements.
• Evaluates equipment after repairs, maintenance or safety checks.
• Documents equipment status before and after rental.
• Handles customer complaints about equipment condition or operation.
• Updates and maintains service records; creates and bills work orders.
