Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Extensive repair and maintenance experience with self-propelled platforms and lifts.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and supervise service activities.
• Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements.
• Experience diagnosing maintenance and repair issues in the industry.
• Proven planning and management capabilities.
• Proficient computer skills with reporting and inventory familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage repair and maintenance of company and customer equipment (Ready to Rent, Returned, Down).
• Prepare work schedules and handle service calls to meet customer needs and assure equipment availability.
• Order parts to maintain adequate supplies.
• Provide training and assistance to staff mechanics.
• Work with equipment vendors to learn maintenance requirements for new equipment.
• Evaluate equipment after repairs, maintenance or safety checks.
• Document equipment status before and after rental.
• Handle customer complaints regarding equipment condition or operation.
• Promote safety awareness and perform quality control checks.
• Update, maintain and organize equipment service records; create and close work orders; file warranty claims.
