Job summary

Orkin is seeking a Service Manager in Houston to lead a high‑performing service operation, developing and motivating the team to deliver world-class pest control services. You’ll balance technical know‑how with strong communication and empathy to earn customer trust and drive growth.

You will recruit and train the service staff, oversee scheduling and field activities, and champion adoption of new products and technology while maintaining safety and integrity in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with our great clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead an entire service operation and manage a high-performance team.
• Motivate the service team to deliver top-notch service while prioritizing safety.
• Maintain professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Assist with recruiting top talent for the service team.
• Train and develop Orkin Pros through hands-on management.
• Lead training meetings and oversee Ride-Along program.
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through inspections and actions.
• Champion innovation by adopting new products, services and technology.
• Monitor scheduling, routing and inventory to drive efficiencies.
