The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of heavy-duty truck repair experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex repair orders and customer relations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 5 years heavy-duty truck repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing an annual department business plan and continuous improvement plans.
• Manage staffing levels and assigned work hours to meet customer needs and maximize profitability.
• Recruit, interview, hire, provide feedback, document performance, and address issues promptly.
• Assess daily work operations to enhance the department's efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure technician certification and training are current to meet product demands.
• Manage opening repair orders with customer signatures, estimates, and payment methods.
• Coordinate with Parts Manager for timely parts ordering, stocking, and receiving.
• Ensure compliance with credit and cash management policies.
