Empower Rental Group is seeking a Service Manager at the Foley, Alabama branch. The role directs the Yard, Shop, and Machine Technicians, organizing field service runs and repair schedules.

You will perform cost/benefit analyses on major repairs, track parts, and manage shop traffic while assisting the rental counter and Operations Manager. Applicants should lead with excellent customer service, have supervisory experience, and be able to perform major repairs on heavy equipment, diagnosing

Qualifications

• Excellent Customer Service Skills for internal and external customers.
• Valid Driver's license with clean driving record may be required.
• Achieves quality standards.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in managing a team.
• Perform major repairs on heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot fuel, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Must have own basic tools.
• Proficient in MS Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate a team of field service technicians to inspect, repair, and maintain equipment per manufacturer specifications.
• Handle internal and external client inquiries via phone, email, or text and assist with service needs.
• Manage fleet availability to meet organizational goals.
• Create and manage an efficient shop workflow.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean shop environment.
• Communicate complete job information to field service personnel.
