Martin Equipment, a fourth-generation family- and woman-owned John Deere Construction & Forestry dealer, seeks a Service Manager to lead the Service Department and drive uptime for customers. You’ll supervise technicians, coordinate shop and field work, manage warranties, and ensure safety, quality, and profitability.
Strong leadership and dealership software skills are required. The role emphasizes collaboration with Sales and Parts, overseeing repair orders, and continuous process improvements
Competenze
- Must have strong leadership experience and ability to manage a service team.
- Experience with warranty administration, budgeting, and performance management preferred.
- Proficiency with dealership systems, service software, and MS Office required.
Mansioni
- Lead the daily operations of the Service Department.
- Oversee shop and field service activities and technician workloads.
- Ensure accurate repair orders, service records, and invoicing; monitor performance metrics.
- Maintain safety and compliance across the department.
- Support onboarding, training, and development of service staff.
- Collaborate with Sales, Parts, and Service teams to optimize uptime for customers.
