Job summary

Lee Johnson in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Service Manager to lead the dealership’s service department. You will build strong customer relationships, oversee daily operations, and drive profitability while maintaining a positive, productive work environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, staff training, and adherence to manufacturer policies. You will forecast goals, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with other departments to deliver outstanding CSI scores and service excellence

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all service staff.
  • Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
  • Ensure full compliance with manufacturer policies, warranties, procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure exemplary customer service levels are executed and maintained in a timely and consistent manner commensurate with CSI standards.
  • Conduct meetings with department employees to discuss activities and issues of mutual interest.
  • Strive for harmony and teamwork with all other departments.
  • Ensure that all the necessary shop equipment is in proper and safe working condition.
  • Schedule training as necessary to properly repair and service and to satisfy the training standards of the manufacturer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The service manager is responsible for the customer sensitive, efficient, and profitable operation of the dealership’s service department. He/she carries out this responsibility by building customer relationships, operating the department at maximum production, creating a good work environment, and properly managing the assets of the department.
