Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Decatur, IL is seeking a Service Leader to deliver a positive guest experience by ensuring safe, quality food and a well-trained crew. The role requires hands-on leadership on the line, strong safety and food handling practices, and a proactive approach to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

You will coach front-of-house teammates, monitor breaks and schedules, and participate in employee development while upholding Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served.
• Keep the restaurant line clean and organized with functioning equipment.
• Be on your feet and clocked in; assist with tasks when not busy.
• Resolve food quality issues and customer incidents.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house Crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews and future leadership development.
• Assist with office administration duties and ordering supplies.
