Qualifications

• Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service taught through in-house training.
• Trustworthy; can be relied upon to deal with payment of guest checks and operate cash register.
• Must be able to communicate clearly.
• Must be able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Greets, seats, and serves guests to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Resolves guest complaints professionally and promptly.
• Handles cash, credit cards, and guest checks accurately.
• Maintains facility and equipment through preventive maintenance and safety protocols.
• Monitors food temperatures to ensure safety and quality.
• Trains employees during shifts to ensure productive performance.
• Ensures menu items are prepared and served to standard.
• Identifies and addresses system issues to minimize downtime.
• Communicates with Manager on Duty about issues and improvements.
• Manages cash controls and contributes to unit sales and profits through guest satisfaction.
