Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader in a fast-paced restaurant environment in New Jersey. You will ensure safe and quality food is prepared and served, while training the crew and delivering excellent customer service.

You will monitor line operations, handle daily safety procedures, and support office tasks. The role emphasizes leadership development and ongoing staff training, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters.
• Experience with cash handling policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with office paperwork and processes.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma required; restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues and customer incidents.
• Support food safety: hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature checks, shelf life monitoring, daily safety checklist.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules; develop and cross-train crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews and with office administration duties.
• Help develop future Service Leaders and ensure supplies are ordered.
