Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served; and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. He/she keeps a clean, organized line with properly functioning equipment.

The role requires standing on the job with occasional breaks, and proactive task completion to assist others and keep operations smooth.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience and strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of cashier handling policies and procedures.
• Understanding of Food Safety standards and health department matters.
• Familiarity with routine office paperwork.
• Ability to speak and read the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety including hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature monitoring, and Daily Food Safety Checklist.
• Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front of house Crew.
• Assist with Crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as: banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and supplies.
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed.
