Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring for a Service Leader who will ensure a positive guest experience by delivering safe, quality food and by training and supporting a capable restaurant crew. The role emphasizes a clean, well-run line and proactive task management on feet, with opportunities to advance into leadership.

The position focuses on food safety, customer service, crew development, and office administration, with the goal of building future Service Leaders and maintaining smooth restaurant

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Ability to speak, write, read and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help to resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety including hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature monitoring, shelf life checks, and daily safety policies.
• Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross train all front of house Crew.
• Assist with Crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies, and office paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and supplies are ordered as necessary.
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed.
